About this agent

Amazon's managed remote MCP server, generally available since May 2026 as part of the Agent Toolkit for AWS. Agents can search AWS documentation, call any AWS API, run sandboxed Python scripts and follow curated AWS skills. It authenticates with OAuth or IAM SigV4 and is offered in eight regional endpoints. The older awslabs suite of local servers still works but is now positioned as its predecessor.
