WordPress MCP

WordPress's official MCP Adapter plugin, which exposes Abilities from WordPress core, plugins and themes as MCP tools. Agents can discover and call those abilities to manage content and settings on a self-hosted site running WordPress 6.9 or later. It authenticates with Application Passwords and replaces Automattic's archived wordpress-mcp. WordPress.com sites have a separate hosted MCP server.

This endpoint is a template: replace {your-site} with your own values before connecting.

Add it to any MCP client that supports remote servers (Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf):
